This salve is heavily infused with wildcrafted pinon pitch, that was gathered on a warm day in February, and thoroughly ruined some pockets along the way. Pine pitch is warming, stimulating, and healing. It draws circulation to wherever its applied, making it useful for cold achy joints and injuries that are healing slowly. Its also incredibly useful for splinters and cuts, being antiseptic and drawing (it pulls out splinters and dirt).
More than that, its expectorant, making it a useful chest rub for those cold achy coughs that can't seem to get the gunk out.
And on top of all of that, it smells absolutely divine, and I'll often use it as a perfume alone, because it smells like pine resin and the hot sun on a cold winter's day.
